The Customer/Volunteer Appreciation Barbecue is an annual event held on August 11, sponsored in Conjunction with 40 Mile Regional F.C.S.S.  Residents are treated to bbq hamburgers, chips, pop and ice cream free of charge.  Entertainment rounds out the evening.
